It's ten years today since Dorothy Dunnett died, leaving behind an impressive body of work and many dedicated readers. She was a great writer and a gracious lady, and she brought a tremendous amount of pleasure into people's lives.

I'm trying to track down a book for a friend in Canada: Death at Pompeia's Wedding by Rosemary Rowe, published by Severn House in hard cover in 2008 and paperback in 2009.  If you come across one in a second-hand bookshop, please let me know.  Upwards of £69 from an Amazon market place seller doesn't seem reasonable, really.  W H Smith online ( Read more... )
